LEYDEN COUNCIL EQUITY STATEMENT

Adopted 2020

We, the teachers and educational support personnel, being members of the Leyden Council, pledge to:

• promote racial, economic, and social justice in order to achieve educational justice at Leyden High School and in the communities we serve;

• protect and improve the services for developing the capacities of all students at Leyden High School;

• secure, protect, and assert the fundamental equity in our jobs in accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education of District 212 and the Leyden Council.
